About this tracker
Scope, method, boundaries. Last revised 2026-08-12.
Scope
Casino Clone Watch logs incidents of cloned gambling sites, abused mirrors and brand piggybacking against licensed casinos and sportsbooks. The unit of record is the incident, a set of domains, apps or pages acting as one impersonation of one brand, not the individual URL. We started logging in January 2026 after noticing the same clone templates cycling across markets while every writeup treated each domain as a fresh story.
Method
Incidents arrive from reader tips, regulator warning lists, ad transparency libraries and our own recurring queries on high-risk naming patterns.
An incident is logged only after we have seen the clone ourselves, confirmed the imitated brand holds a license, and confirmed the clone domain is not operator-controlled. Anything we cannot verify stays out.
Date, category, scale, distribution route, notable tells. Terse by design. An entry should be readable in fifteen seconds and comparable to every other entry.
What we withhold
Live clone URLs, never published, an incident log should not double as a directory of working scam links. Target operator names, withheld unless the operator has itself published on the incident. Screenshots of live cashier flows, withheld for the same reason as URLs. Registrant identities, out of scope, attribution of clone networks is investigative work this site does not claim to do.
Boundaries
This is an editorial log, not a takedown service, a legal resource or a complaints desk. We do not accept payment for entries, removals or omissions. We do not review casinos, rate casinos or advise anyone where to play. Where an entry touches removal practice, it reports what the record shows worked, nothing more.
Corrections. If an entry misstates a fact, the fastest fix is a tip through the channels above with evidence attached. Corrected entries keep their original date and gain a revision note, the log does not silently rewrite itself.
Start with the current entries or the definitions page if the vocabulary is new.
